Never Look Away GFT
5 – 11 July, 2019
From the Academy-Award winning director of The Lives of Others comes an intergenerational tale of love, sorrow, art and politics. With stunning cinematography and an evocative score, Never Look Away follows 30 years in the life of artist Kurt Barnert: from his upbringing during the Nazi years, to his escape to West Germany. Tom is haunted by his memories, and his art begins to represent the thoughts and feelings of an entire generation.
