Local Hero: 40th Anniversary
Saturday 8 – Thursday 13 July, 2023
Peter Riegert, Peter Capaldi and Jenny Seagrove star in this comedy-drama from celebrated writer-director Bill Forsyth (Gregory’s Girl, Comfort and Joy), screening at GFT to mark four decades since its release. Funny, spirit-lifting and dripping with charm, Local Hero is a poignant ode to the power of community that loses none of its magic on the big screen 40 years on.
