Joel Sachs is the award-winning creator of the hottest show on television – “Manhunt”. He also has a big problem; with the big ratings war known as “Sweeps Week” approaching, the Network have demanded a last minute rewrite of their latest story.
Assembling his team on a scorching Saturday, Joel must contend with hangovers, egos, broken bones and broken relationships all in a quest to present the best storyline in the show’s history, even if it destroys what little he has left.
“Sweeps” is a peek behind the creative curtain, showcasing the individuals who devote their lives to producing the best entertainment possible; even in the most personal and bizarre of circumstances.
