Book Launch: Medicine, Money and Murder by Anne Pettigrew
Thursday 3 October, 2024, 7 p.m.
Waterstones, 351-355 Byres Rd, Glasgow G12 8AU
Medicine, Money and Murder follows two female Glasgow medical students on summer placement in 1971 New Jersey, USA. It is Anne Pettigrew’s fourth literary medical crime novel, a thought-provoking tale of cultural clashes, ethical dilemmas, romance and humour that emphasises how fortunate we are to have an NHS free at the point of entry- and should fight to prevent its commercialisation.
Popular TV presenter Judith Ralston will interview the retired GP and Bloody Scotland spotlighted author before a Q&A and book signing.

Glasgow medical graduate Anne’s royalties benefit children’s charity PlanUK who promote girls’ education and welfare worldwide.
