Billed as the Cool Runnings of the wine world, Blind Ambition tells the story of four Zimbabwean men who leave their country in search of a better life in South Africa. Their work in the hospitality industry allows them to develop a newfound interest in wine, and together they become the first team of Zimbabwean sommeliers to compete at the World Blind Wine Tasting Championships in France. Robert Coe and Warwick Ross’s inspirational, feel-good documentary raises a glass to the lives of this humble quartet, and tells a story of dedication, determination and really knowing your wines.
