American Woman GFT
11 – 17 February, 2019
In a blue-collar town in Pennsylvania, Debra Callahan (Sienna Miller) is a grandmother by the age of 32. When her teenage daughter goes missing, she is left to raise her infant grandson alone. American Woman charts one woman’s gruelling 11-year odyssey, from the day her daughter vanishes, through the trials and tribulations of subsequent years and ultimately to the long-awaited discovery of the truth. Sienna Miller is outstanding in this poignant drama from the producers of Manchester by the Sea and the studio that brought you Winter’s Bone.
