Lights Up Sounds On at Cottiers
2 November, 2025, 7.30 p.m.
Glasgow Voice of the Town Choir
Cottiers, 93 – 95 Hyndland Street, Glasgoe G11 5PU
After its previous packed-out show in late 2024, Glasgow’s hottest choir is back with its biggest, most exciting and most rockin’ show yet… Lights Up, Sound On!
Featuring fantastic songs from Soul/Funk, Gospel, RnB, Dance and Pop/Rock with stunning, powerful harmonies, original and exciting vocal arrangements and foot-stomping grooves, Glasgow’s funkiest, most high-energy choir brings its latest, powerhouse, must-see show to Cottiers.
To date, the choir has performed at a huge variety of festivals, shows, events and tours, including backing stars from BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, vocal harmony group G4, and at top venues such as Glasgow’s SECC, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and the Royal Concert Hall, to name just a few.
The choir has also taken to the stage at the likes of Kelvingrove Bandstand, Glasgow’s Merchant City Festival, The Edinburgh Fringe and even live on BBC, Sky and ITV television as they appeared on the steps of Hampden Park before the Scotland v Ukraine international football match in June 2022. They also performed alongside Karen Dunbar (Chewin’ The Fat) for her BBC programme, I Belong To Glasgow.
The choir has also performed as the ‘house band’ for the Glasgow date of the Joe Marler UK tour, featuring former England and Harlequin’s rugby player, Joe Marler, as he took his hugely successful podcast on the road. That was then followed up with appearing and performing on Mary Berry‘s 2023 Christmas Special, Mary Berry’s Highland Christmas, which aired on BBC One throughout the UK, and across the United States. And, this year alone, among a variety of events, the choir returned to open Motherwell Football Clubs ‘Player of the Year’ awards, having previously done so back in 2023.
And now, with some of the region’s very best musicians accompanying live, as well as a top support act to open the show, all that’s left is to get your tickets, come on down and get ready for Lights Up, Sound On!
Please note: this is a mixed seating/standing event, with seating available for those who require it or have mobility issues. If you require seating, please email events@voiceofthetown.co.uk to confirm how many seats you need.
