Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September, 2025 10 a.m.
The Alasdair Gray Archive, The Whisky Bond 2 Dawson Road, Glasgow G4 9SS
Glasgow is a visionary city and it was Alasdair Gray who first explored this, through writing in his seminal novel Lanark (1981), the imaginative potential of what the city could hold. The tour will bring this to life via access to the collection and new exhibition ‘The City’ devised by curatorial assistant, Holly Rennie Brown. There will be free self-led activities for children/young people as part of the tour exploring Glasgow as a visionary city including an activity sheet and opportunity to help build a Minecraft ‘Glasgow of the Imagination’
Booking essential via Eventbrite
