GFT 12 Rose Street, Glasgow G3 6RB

Allison Gardner and Allan Hunter
Mark a momentous occasion at GFT as the one and only Allison Gardner retires from her dual roles as CEO of Glasgow Film and Director of Glasgow Film Festival after more than 30 years with the organisation. Allison will take part in a special conversation, looking back at key moments from her career in cinema, hosted by long time festival collaborator Allan Hunter. The conversation will be followed by a film screening of Whiplash, a film Allison loved and championed on its release back in 2015.

Simmons), an instructor known for his terrifying teaching methods, discovers Andrew and transfers the aspiring drummer into the top jazz ensemble, forever changing the young man’s life.
