Mank at GFT
30 April and 3 May, 2023
1930s Hollywood is reevaluated through the eyes of scathing social critic and alcoholic screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz (Gary Oldman) as he races to finish the screenplay of Citizen Kane.
Based on an original screenplay by his late father Jack, Mank is David Fincher’s unique take on Hollywood legend. The film was nominated for 10 Oscars and won two, including for Erik Messerschmidst’s stunning cinematography.
Part of David Fincher Cinemasters season.
