The Night of the 12th at GFT
31 March – 6 April, 2023
Dominik Moll’s riveting, true crime drama unfolds in a sleepy village in the suburbs of Grenoble, France. Idealistic detective Yohan (Bastien Bouillon) and grizzled veteran Marceau (Bouli Lanners) are assigned to solve the gruesome murder of a young woman. Their investigation becomes about more than a single crime, gradually reflecting wider issues of male violence and prevailing attitudes towards women. The case begins to weigh them down, becoming an obsession for the steely Yohan as he grows determined to understand what really happened, and to find the guilty party.
