We’re Not In Kansas Anymore at Glasgow Film Theatre

Until 10 January, 2023
Join us at the intersection of the yellow brick road and the red room for this season exploring the connections between The Wizard of Oz and the work of David Lynch.
The catalyst for the season is Lynch/Oz, a new documentary exploring Lynch’s ongoing fascination with Victor Fleming’s 1939 classic, from his very first short The Alphabet, to Twin Peaks: The Return.
Alongside the documentary, The Wizard of Oz will be screened along with a number of Lynch’s greatest films, including a new 4K restoration of Lost Highway. See for yourself how the great director references and reworks the themes, images and symbolism of Oz, and perhaps gain a new layer of understanding of his work.
