Fly your flag in Woodlands!
Woodlands Community Garden
Please join in a collective project to create a set of bright flags, reflecting on how the past six months has affected you. Bring a splash of colour and a feeling of solidarity to the community, whether that’s with messages of activism, hope, kindness, sadness or struggle.
Come along in your own time to:
1. Collect a flag & materials from Woodlands Community Garden (or contact us to deliver to you locally)
2. Take home to decorate with your own personal message
3. Drop back in the collection box in Woodlands Community Garden before Thursday 22nd October, 2020
The flags will then be sewn together and we will ceremoniously raise them among the trees in Millennium Park, Ashley Street on Friday 23rd October 3.30pm where they will remain for the weekend.
This is a project for all ages and abilities. For tips and examples of flags, keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
