This Danish box office hit is a nerve-racking single-location thriller, packed with twists and featuring an intense central performance from Jakob Cedergren. He plays Asger, a police officer who has been taken off active duty to man a phone in an emergency call centre. When he picks up a call from a woman who tells him she is being kidnapped, Asger enters a race against time to try and track the woman down and save her. Director Gustav Möller keeps the audience trapped in the office with Asger for the entire film, working from a tightly-written script that drip-feeds information with masterful control.
