Moonlight, based on the play ‘In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue’, tells the story of Chiron, a black gay man growing up in Miami. Carol, starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara, is a film about an affair between an aspiring female photographer and an older woman going through a difficult divorce.
