They’ll be screening a double feature of Moonlight and Carol in Jim’s Bar, QMU, from 6pm to 10pm Thursday 22nd February. Moonlight, based on the play ‘In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue’, tells the story of Chiron, a black gay man growing up in Miami. Carol, starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara, is a film about an affair between an aspiring female photographer and an older woman going through a difficult divorce.
