A community is rocked by a spate of sheep slaughters during a full moon. While farmers suspect a wolf, the village’s children are convinced something else is going on. Six year-old Aslak (Adam Ekeli) knows better than to venture into the woods alone, especially after the loss of his older brother, but when his beloved border collie runs off he has no choice but to follow. The trees tower over him, the fog billows and obscures. Is the stranger he encounters friend or foe? Are his fears real or imagined? Watch and shiver. A haunting fable in the Scandinavian Gothic tradition.
