Sleeping Beauty, Kings Theatre Glasgow


Alongside the First Lady of Scottish pantomime Elaine C Smith, who stars as The Fairy in the spectacular Christmas show, will be comedian and panto star Johnny Mac who joins her as Sleeping Beauty’s hapless sidekick Muddles, and Juliet Cadzow(River City, Balamory) and Paul-James Corrigan (River City, Gary Tank Commander) as the wicked fairy, Carabosse, and her put-upon son Slimeball.
Once upon a time in a land far away, the beautiful Princess Beauty is given a sixteenth birthday present by her evil godmother Carabosse the Enchantress. By pricking her finger on an enchanted spinning wheel she is placed under a cruel curse and forced to sleep for 100 years.
Can true love survive and the handsome Prince Charming break the spell? Can Beauty’s hilarious best friend Muddles help save the day and who will outwit the evil Carabosse and foil her wicked plans?
