CCA & Saramago Summer Party
10pm – 2am, FREE
Summer Party, and you’re invited!
Fri 2 August and see a preview of two new exhibitions by Shelly Nadashi and Iain Hetherington, Jacob Kerray and Owen Piper accompanied by a tasty beer courtesy of Williams Bros. Brewing Co. from 7.30pm, as well as the opportunity to see a performance by Kathryn Elkin in the Intermedia Gallery as part of her new exhibition, COVERS. The fun continues from 10pm until late with free tequila, special drinks and food promos from Saramago Café Bar, not to mention guest DJs and a chance to dance the night away.
CCA are teaming up with Tramway to make it easy for you to enjoy both of exhibition previews on Fri 2. Catch a free bus between each venue and see British artist Brian Griffiths’ ambitious new exhibition Borrowed World, Borrowed Eyes, which showcases a mammoth field of sculptures that become space fillers, insistent perfunctory objects to be skirted around or get lost in.
Bus times:
8pm – CCA to Tramway
9.15pm – Tramway to CCA
