Curzon Home Cinema, in association with The List, bring you The Clan. Directed by Pablo Trapero and produced by Pedro Almodóvar, this shocking thriller is based on a true tale of corruption and manipulation.
In an affluent suburb of Buenos Aires in the 1980s, a seemingly normal family makes its living off kidnapping and murder. Welcome to the home of the Puccios – Argentina’s most notorious crime family.
Winner of the Silver Lion for Best Director at Venice 2015 and five Argentine Academy Awards, The Clan had the largest opening weekend of any Argentinean film in history with 1.5 million Argentinians watching it in cinemas in its opening fortnight.
✮✮✮✮ “Trapero and his team lend the film a noir-ish tension throughout, playing with structure and editing in a way that will keep you hooked until the very last scene” James Mottram, The List
