Sunday 10 January (20.30)
Running time: 1h25m
Sleaford Mods are regularly cited as being one of the most electrifying and uncompromising bands to come out of Britain in years. This documentary follows the duo in the run up to the 2015 General Election as they visit and perform in the neglected, broken down and boarded up parts of the UK that many would prefer to ignore. Equal parts music doc and ‘state of the nation’ film, Invisible Britain features communities attempting to find hope among the ruins, with a blistering soundtrack by Sleaford Mods.
This film will be followed by a discussion around the issues raised by the film, hosted by Cayley James, Festival Coordinator at Document Human Rights Festival.
