Holy Bad Movie! For their third show Billy Kirkwood and Joe Heenan have picked the film that not only almost killed off superhero movies forever, but also the careers of everyone it touched in one swoop: Joel Schumacher’s 1997 cinematic crapzilla Batman & Robin.
Join top comics Joe Heenan & Billy Kirkwood as they provide hysterical live commentary over the film with special guests and some surprises.
In Batman & Robin, Oscar-winner George Clooney gives his first and only performance as the Caped Crusader, fighting to maintain his relationship with Robin (Chris O’Donnell) while battling Uma Thurman’s Poison Ivy and Arnold Schwarzenegger – clearly having a ball – as Mr Freeze. The film is jam-packed with icy puns, Batnipples and a nonsensical plot that left Hollywood cringing and cinema-goers fearing for the future of the Dark Knight. Universally hated, including by the director himself, it’s the movie they all want you to forget!
Unique, hilarious and interactive, Watch Bad Movies with Good Comedians is one of the most hysterical trips to the cinema you’ll ever have. Act fast: our last two shows sold out and this one is set to be just the same!
