Felix and Oscar's - the coolest shop on the planet is situated in one of Glasgow's most interesting West End Lanes, where it is a joy to spend a day dining, browsing and buying. You will particularly enjoy the, now much larger, Felix and Oscar's with it's exciting and exclusive ranges of clothes, children's shoes, designer bags, designer jewellery, books, ceramics and kitchen ware. The shop is awash with colour and vitality bringing sunshine to the West End and it is full of surprises, with many lines unique to Felix and Oscar's.

You will adore their Uttam clothing range with tops and skirts in great styles and vibrant shades of aqua, turquoise and cerise - designed in Nepal they have been an immediate hit with West End girls searching for something a bit different. You can match up your outfit with some wonderful designer jewellery including lovely modern bracelets, necklets and earrings by Mojo - unique jewellery which is handmade in Scotland. You will also love the Hultquist styles including some funky retro. The prices are surprisingly affordable and I could not resist some lovely black and pink floral earrings, which have already been much admired. Cath Kidston bags continue to be a favourite with customers at Felix and Oscar and they also have an extensive collection of very stylish handbags by Orla Kiely, Acompany and Uttam.

Stock is sourced from all around the globe and the children's clothing range is particularly interesting, ranging from Agatha Ruiz de la Prada of Spain's wonderful European designs in tops, trousers, shirts and shoes. Bench, British Urban Streetwear for cool boys and Hooch with equally stylish outfits for girls. Also at Felix and Oscar you can find Ollie Skatewear and Small Paul, the kids collection from Paul Frank.

Sandy Welch (whose face is familiar from the small screen) and Sandra Payne (Textile Designer) named their shop after their sons - Felix and Oscar and they now also have a little girl Honey Bea. The shop reveals that they know what appeals to the children - and the adults. They have created a perfect mix of fun and fashion, where all the family share in their enthusiasm. I found the colourful raincoats and matching ladybird wellies irrestible and they were a big hit with our little six year old and her mum.

The shop is a haven of delight whether you are looking for gifts or a treat for yourself. It has also managed to plug a few gaps in the West End Shopping Scene, they even have a range of attractive books in stock and some very nice Nigella Lawson Cookware and beautiful handmade spongewear by Emma Bridgewate. Also crockery and cards designed by their own company Payne and Ink.

There truly is something for everyone - something you are bound to love - and remember to check out the 'Sale Rail'.

It's also worth checking out the Felix and Oscar shops in Hillhead - if you happen to be around the West End's East Village .
