Gavin is a warm and friendly Geordie,a confident experienced stand up comic with an interesting stage persona-a mixture of paranoid schizophrenic, confrontational and effortlessly funny. Gavin's set switches from a friendly pub philosopher to ranting rabble-rouser with sharp one liners, smug observations and Sardonic ukele songs.His set is loud and attention grabbing.
Gavin is based in Newcastle and is a regular compere and performer at National and London venues.
TV & RADIO APPEARANCES include East Coast mainline(YTT) After Hours (BBC Radio 5), The Morning Show(Radio Newcastle),The Late Show (BBC North)
In January1999 Gavin performed an hour long solo show at the Newcastle Hyena to a full house with rave reviews and a follow up show at the end of the year.August 1999 saw Gavin hosting the first ever Leeds Rock Festival comedy tent in the difficult 10pm-2am slot to rave reviews and peer respect.
