The Contact Exhibition is at the ARC Building, Glasgow Caledonian University from 7th April, 2001
Eileen is delighted to show off her work which has been selling very well at The Phoenix Gallery in Sauchiehall Street and also Nancy Smillie's in Cresswell Lane. I love her new, very colourful photographs and I am looking forward to seeing the giant 'Button Box". This was inspired by Eileen's memories of emptying out her mother's button box to play with when she was a child. Fortunately, she now has her own button box to which she added the large fur button. The button was taken from a coat her mother wore when Eileen was a child.
I'm looking forward to the Opening Party of the Exhibition on Friday where I will see more of Eileen's work, the work of the other two exhibitors and hopefully also catch up with some of the Clydebank gang.
