has it ever not been raining at the mela?

Well in the photos above I do see an umbrella but only one. I got soaked at Gibson Street Gala but there was still a good turnout.

It's on both Saturday and Sunday and on my weather app it says Saturday Cloudy and Sunday Showers. Maybe it won't be too bad. Hope not.

i hate to be the bearer of bad news but.......take more than a brolly

A FLOOD ALERT has been issued for West Central Scotland.

Heavy, thundery rain is expected to affect parts of West Central Scotland on Saturday, with the heaviest during the afternoon and early evening. Wherever the rainfall is heaviest there is the chance of some localised flooding due to the intensity of the downpours.

well just back and the acts were great and clothes and uniforms were a colourful joy. But there was just something missing, fewer stalls, what there was samey, I understand its £1200 a pitch so maybe its too rich for many.

Colourful as ever and the bandstand made a great performance area. Agree with you about the stalls, samsc – that's an awful lot to fork out. I would have thought £100 was more like it.
