Fun for all the family

Dowanhill Primary School and Dowanhill Park and will host a wide range of events for all the family on 3rd, 4th and 5th August.

Friday kicks off in Dowanhill Primary School at 11.00 am and will include children's rides, bouncy castle, giant slide and a host of other attractions for the children.

Information Village

The Fayre will also host an Information Village which will include advice on a whole host of issues including pensions, welfare rights, recycling, security and health and safety.

Partick Fayre Dance

Friday also includes Partick Fayre's dance aimed primarily at our elderly residents but everyone is welcome.

This very popular event takes place on Friday evening in Partick Burgh Halls starting at 7.30 pm and tickets are available at Partick Housing Association's offices or at the door on the night (subject to availability) and are priced very reasonably at £3.

Football Tournament

Saturday's events include a football tournament in Mansfield Park which will kick off at 10.30 am and the Fun Day in Dowanhill Primary School and park will follow at 1.00 pm.

Kelvingrove Musical Extravaganza

The weekend is rounded off with "Kelvingroove" a musical extravaganza in Kelvingrove Park. Lots of local talent will be on show - the fun begins at 12.00 noon.
