The annual Ashton Lane New Year Street Party will be happening this year again. It will be starting with a bang at 8pm on Hogmanay with a 45 minute set on an outdoor stage by the renowned seventies Bowie covers band Tigers On Vaseline.There will be music in Ashton Lane, bands and/or DJs in the bars, pipers and fireworks.

The event will finish at 01am prompt. Cost - the same as last year - £20 per ticket. Numbers will be limited at the discretion of the City Council's Building Control Department. As in previous years we aim to provide a safe and secure environment for people to enjoy the New Year with their friends.

Tickets will be on sale at Brel, Jinty's, Vodka Wodka and The Grosvenor from 1pm on Sunday 18 November. This is a West End event for Westenders and regulars in the bars and restaurants of Ashton Lane. Tickets will be sold locally based (work, study or home) regulars and visitors to the city, so please come in and register with us beforehand with evidence of local residency like a utility bill plus driving licence or passport for ID, or e mail if visiting from abroad.

Brel tx limited to 4 per person. Over 18s only. Cash only. Please note there will be no carry outs permitted to the lane and an entry curfew of 10.30 will be applied, but come early to catch the band and enjoy the Ashton Lane New Year experience..
