Harvest Festival - Woodlands Community Garden
Saturday 8th September 2-7pm
Join us for
- the unique outdoor grand piano experience
- acoustic music in the garden
- a range of interactive workshops including digital photography, permaculture and urban bird spotting
- creative recycled crafts including the wearable garden workshop
- fresh and tasty seasonal food (including curries, soups and baked potatos)
- photo exhibition telling the story of the Woodlands Community Garden
- pop up storytelling, poetry and theatrics
- kids facepainter and family friendly activities
- winter bulbs in pots stall
- giant teddy bear raffle
- the launch of 'Land for All Seasons' with out new artist in residence Alejandra Contreras
Help us by
- come to our banner making workshop this Sunday 2nd September from 12 midday
- joining us for preparations in the garden Tuesday 4-8pm, Wednesday 4-8pm, Sunday 12-4pm and on Friday 7th September from 1pm onwards
- volunteering on the day from 11am onwards
- bringing home baked cakes, biscuits, chutneys, jams or pickles for our community food stall
- signing up as a friend of the garden to help us cover our expenses (details available on the day)
- spreading the word. Invite your friends and family along :-)
All taking place in Woodlands Community Garden, 91-101 West Princes Street G4 9BY (and across the road in Queens Crescent Gardens).
Free Event- but donations welcomed on the day to help us meet our costs
