The Charles Rennie Macintosh house re-opens at the Hunterian Gallery

The Charles Rennie Mackintosh house at the Hunterian Gallery is re-opening tomorrow (Saturday 15th August). I was invited along today to take some photos of the newly refurbished rooms to publicise the event. What beautiful rooms and furniture. Rennie Mackintosh was a genius for sure.

Glasgow West-enders will of course know that he and his wife Margaret stayed in the West End for a while (not far from where we used to stay in Hillhead) - and that the gallery house is a re-construction of their West End pad.
