How to Have the Mother of All Christmases!

The festive merry-go-round of office parties and enforced enjoyment is once again upon us! If you're dreading the thought of tucking into your first of many mandatory 'Fixed Price Festive Fare Menus' during December, ramped up to the strains of 'Tis the Season to Make Lolly', hope and help is on hand. The Mother India Restaurant Group, which incorporates the Wee Curry Shops in Byres Road and Buccleuch Street, and the recently opened Glasgow Curry Shop in Ashton Lane offer a refreshing alternative without a reconstituted turkey leg in sight. Throughout the festive season, all the restaurants will be serving up the same delicious, freshly cooked fare from their A La Carte Menus, so you are free to indulge in exactly what you want with an abundance of choice and no grossly inflated prices.

At Mother India's flagship Restaurant in Westminster Terrace you can look forward to delicacies from the A La Carte Menu such as Parsley and Coconut Salmon, Sea Bass simmered in Lemon and Coriander Butter, a hearty Lagan Ka Vegetarian Festive Stew or Lamb Mussalam with Baby Turnips and Roasted Leeks. For large parties of 8 or more, there is an option to choose from one of two Set Menus at £21 or £24 which will be available from 6th December.

The festive spirit will of course be very much in evidence, aided by the Group's BYOB policy! Although each restaurant is fully licensed with an exceedingly quaffable selection of wines, beers and spirits, Mother India actively encourage patrons to bring their own wine or beers which can be imbibed on the premises for a modest corkage charge.

So you see, the prospect of the party season is far from 'Bah, humbug'. You might even see the funny side of the inappropriate advances of the office geek as he morphs into a spluttering gargoyle and lunges across the table to declare his undying love!
