I think I'll drag my brother Liam down to try out this new addition to the thriving eating scene at the bottom of Byres Road. I have not yet made it along with Liam but John and I have sampled Chow and it really is very good.
Mainly serving take away meals - the small restaurant area is popular with students. It has all the usual dishes and plenty of vegetarian choices. (£)
Well worth a visit to experience traditional Malaysian and Cantonese dishes in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Jo and Jack provide first class service and make you very welcome. I had a lovely meal there tonight with my son John. Some of his Chinese friends had recommended Mo's and now it is his favourite place to eat. (16th Feb. 2002) (£ - ££)

Just wanted to make a comment about chow it is absolutely fantastic!!! A bit small but this only affects staff trying to move around ...service is brilliant and the aromatic crispy duck is to die for!!!
Needs to be booked in advance though as its reputation is obviously getting known.
Cheers
