Alternative Pantos in Glasgow 2019

pinnichio panto

Panto season is now upon us. I know what you’re going to say – oh no it isn’t. And to that I say – oh aye, it is! With Christmas just a month away, venues across Glasgow are putting on a great selection of pantomimes to get Glaswegians in the festive mood.

Like me, when you think of pantomimes in Glasgow, you may automatically think of the old haunts; The King’s Theatre, The Pavilion Theatre, The SEC or The Hydro. All remain fantastic venues, with a rich history of panto talent and legendary shows tucked away in the archives.

But from the West End to the South Side, there are a whole host of local and community pantomime productions taking place across the city this year, running from November to January.
