Whatever Gets You Through The Night is an ambitious new multi-disciplinary live event featuring actors, visuals by Kim Beveridge, aerial work, new writing by some of Scotland's top novelists, poets and playwrights, and a whole album's worth of original music by acclaimed Scottish musicians, some of whom will perform live in the show.

Glasgow Jazz Festival 2012

This is the 26th year of the Festival, and once again it's aiming to offer something for everybody.
Highlights include:
Ginger Baker - Described as "Rock’s first superstar drummer". Baker combined 50s and 60s jazz drumming with African rhythms and has influenced generations of jazz and rock performers.
Grammy nominated keyboardist Robert Glasper will play at the Old Fruitmarket on the 28th of June.
One of the world’s top saxophonists, Pharoah Sanders possesses one of the most distinctive tenor saxophone sounds in jazz.
Jon Fratelli, Ian Shaw, Todd Gordon and Grahame Skinner (Hipsway) will be choosing their favourite Beatles tracks to perform in the Ryan Quigley Big Band Tribute to the Beatles gig on Sat 30 June.
Various venues
Including McChuills, The Old Fruitmarket, 02 ABC, OranMor, The Rio Cafe, Pivo Pivo., CCA.
