Glasgow West End Festival

1st - 24th June

Glasgow's largest festival is all set for its 17th year with a fabulous programme of events including: walks, talks, music, theatre, cultural and community events, exhibitions, children's events and comedy. We can look forward to an amazing three weeks this June with the Cottier Chamber Project, the fabulous Gibson Street Gala, a Canal Cruise, the Three Judges Ale Festival, Beatson Charity Day, Lobey Dosser Day and much, much more...

‘Mother Courage: Stories of Women and War’ at Glasgow Women’s Library

Thursday 21 June. 5.30pm. Free event. Glasgow Women’s Library, 15 Berkeley Street, Glasgow, G3 7BW

As part of Scottish Refugee Week and International Short Story Day, Zoe Lambert and Michelle Green will be appearing at Glasgow Women’s Library for the event ‘Mother Courage: Stories of Women and War’. Zoe Lambert will be reading and discussing her collection The War Tour with Manchester based writer Michelle Green, whose début collection Jebel Marra will be published by Comma in 2013.
