The keyboard player from Deep Purple, John Lord passed away earlier this week. He co-wrote many of their most well-known songs, including 'Smoke on the Water'. He'd been ill with pancreatic cancer and sadly lost his fight.

He certainly put everything he had into it. Not your typical piano player.What a life... what a legacy.
