I take it everyone's heard about the Megabus incident the other day? If not...

What do we make of these e-cigarettes then? My friend uses one, and the first time I saw him with it I was totally convinced it was real. He was just back from a month abroad, and I thought he'd forgotten about the smoking ban! He's not had a real cigarette since Boxing Day, so he's doing quite well so far.

I've been hearing more and more success stories about the electric fags. Someone I know, who successfully quit the tobacco habit after 40 years, has been telling me that she wouldn't want an ordinary ciggy now. Also there are some tea rooms and coffee shops where you can 'smoke'.

Maybe if they really catch on then the pubs will fill up again.

My wife had been using them successfully for about a month. Then had a fight at work and is back puffing the real things

We all make bad decisions when under stress, samsc, but she now knows that they can work so with a bit of luck she'll have another go.
