Caught this programme last night, purely by accident. Ashamed to say I've never heard of David Peat before, but it was a very touching and revealing documentary, sadly he died before it was finished. Some of his films look really interesting.

I saw stuff he did with Billy Connolly. He appears to have been a highly respected man.

Hopefully this will show up, it's the first one that appeared fro me. If not, it's the one of the wee boy wearing some sort of bizarre brazil nut or summat on his head!

Thanks for the link, lynnski. I didn't know that Peat's earliest work, from 1968, included street children in Glasgow. I wonder if they've got any of them at The Mitchell?

Quite possibly Pat. This exhibition at Street Level is mostly work form that period, well worth a visit.
