I'll probably be in the tea room. I like their cake and their china cups. Like your glass too gillies glass but I am staying incognito. You might no like me in the flesh but I will sneak a peep.I'll find out tomorrow i think at the next meeting. Not sure if we have actually finalised who is playing, I think its all folk connected with the lanes recording studios. I'll update when I find out.....

I'll be watching all the ladies enjoying their cuppas, CL, and trying to figure out which one is you. I'm sure we would love you in the flesh but no pressure. Nobody every said that online buddies really had to meet. It's not always the best idea. Looking forward to the festival though.
Sounds great hope they get a good day.
Saturday 23rd June from 12-9pm. Food will be brought to you courtesy of the super sweet Hidden Lane Tearoom and the wonderful Laukner and Moore of 'Piece' fame. This year there will be a seating area for you to relax and chill and enjoy your food and our licensed bars and a hogroast! Yum!
Our shisha lounge by Glasgow Badges will be returning in the form of a mini Jazz club and we will have live bands and DJ's from the likes of lane residents Radio Magnetic.

You'll love The Hidden Lane, tig. You'll spot the undertakers and clock and the lane is right there. Don't wear your platforms - they don't work with the cobbles.

You're no always Mr Cheery yourself, Dex.

I think that might have been a Dexter joke, Pat. A rare occurance, I know.
The weather is terrible for the festival season but we're no in such a pickle as the Isle of Wight.

The weather is terrible for the festival season but we're no in such a pickle as the Isle of Wight.
Thankfully the weather cleared up a bit this afternoon and we managed along to the Open Day at the Allotments and then down to the Hidden Lane. It was very busy and a right bustling happy atmosphere. We couldn't get tea in the cafe as it was mobbed but we ran into lots of folk we knew and had a chat. We had planned to pop into Kelvingrove to the Mela but a wind's got up and looks as though the heavens are set to open again.
p.s. the hog must have been hiding, gilliesglass.

the Mela looked half cancelled and no bands where on any of the stages even tho we got handed a timetable of whats was on n where, none of it was on and there was nothing much happening at all.
i expect it picked up when it dried up tho.
shame really

only thing that was on was in this tent....a woman dancing...she was very good tho

(beejeez, how to i resize the pics on here?)
