I've seen some of the relay and the festivities on the News and I'm thinking that Kelvingrove will look good but a Tea Dance. That's not that exciting and I think it's aimed at old people but the Stones are pensioners would they go to a Tea Dance?

 Are you expecting The Stones, CL?

I think the day starts early and incorporates a number of activities for all the family. Kelvingrove will definitely look good. Always a great draw for Glasgow.

Unless the schools are organising something then I do not think people will be lining the streets. What do others think?

There appeared to be a reasonable turnout, rory.

Some of the people chosen to carry the torch make it very emotional. In today's Herald:
"
When James Duff, 35, from Seafield, near Bathgate, West Lothian, was born, his mother was told he would never walk because of the condition that left his feet twisted. If untreated, the child is forced to walk on the top of his or her feet, instead of the soles.

He did start walking, but only a couple of months before starting school at the age of four.

A series of operations followed, starting in primary school, and they continued until Mr Duff was 20."

James Duff has invited the surgeon who operated to join him when he carries the torch.

Emilie Sande looked pretty happy as well.

I've no idea how they select the runners. Or in the case of the man we saw at Kelvingrove, the cyclist.
This is me since yistirday.
