The fire in Byres Road (as in the heading). Although actually it was in Highburgh Road. Sounds pretty dramatic and traffic in the west end chaotic. One person appears to have been taken to hospital. What? LOL

I hope so Thomas. Byres Rpad and Higburgh Road were both closed and the place was at a standstill. It was lucky a lot of people were not hurt but I would imagine that the building is in a bad state.I hope they were insured..

This is the one Sam wears when he puts out fires.

My brother Samīs a fireman
He pits oot fires,
He went to a fire one night
Somebody shouted dynamite,
Where he's gaun he'll be all right,
He pits oot fires.

I recognised it okay, Dex. Mind you, I never lived in Clydebank. I alluded to your interest not your creativity.
