What a voice. What a gal. There will never be anyone to match her.

Born Too Late to Sunny Govan Sunday oldies is on air at 12:00 GMT. Live on 103.5 FM in Glasgow and on line via the website everywhere else. Felonious Munk breaks a rule about not marking the deaths of music stars because he should be playing them whilst they're alive. He has done that with Etta James and Johnny Otis and will continue to play them. But this morning he'll take the opportunity to play some favourite songs and productions. Still plenty of room for the Motown Medley, Two from the King and Daft Dance record of the week.
