Don't forget she displaced Arlene Philips who spent her whole life in the dance profession, and who certainly new her stuff and had all her marbles when she was replaced. She had of course committed the mortal sin of being of a certain age.How dare she! Then you have "comedian" and presenter Brucie, who looks as if he will be live-linked from his care-home bed to continue bumbling through the show, and who hasn't said anything remotely funny for 30 years. So its plain to see sexism and ageism are alive and well on television, but only if you are a woman of course.

Willie.x.

That's only speculation, albeit that did not stop Harriet Harmon getting a few hours of publicity about it. It also beggars the question why did Arlene continue working with the BBC on another dance programme and is predicted to be returning to Strictly next series.
The reasonable expectations of honest men must be protected.

Sure thing, Willie. Do you watch Strictly - It Takes Two on BBC2 at 6.30 p.m. most nights. All the back stage gossip. It used to be presented by the fabulous Claudia but Zoe Ball has taken over. She's very professional but not so naturally entertaining as Claudia.

Have you got a favourite to win?

They're coming along leaps and bounds. Even Nancy has improved and Lulu was looking pretty nifty. :)

Dear all,

you are right Pat,Lulu looked much better and more confidant, so too Nancy. My money is on Chelsee,Harry, and the very earnest Jason ,who did acknowledge his partners input for the first time.My prediction though is Harry to win.
Costume wise,no malfunctions and I loved the description of Russel as a white cloud floating accross the floor with his yellow tie looking like the sun,and Craig admonishing him for being too camp was hysterical.
This is turning out to be the best Strictly so far,and they all seem to get on so well.Isn't Flavia gorgeous and she never stops smiling.Dresses all looked great, with Holly leaving nothing to the imagination.
Who will get voted off?I havn't a clue,

Willie.x.

P.S.we should have a Forum Strictly Come Dancing.I can design the cozzys, and as long as I take my tablets can pas a doble all night!
I await your comments.

Were we watching the same programme?

Like Lulu, I am a vertically challenged and the height differentials between her and her partner make the whole thing look a bit stilted to moi.

Nancy was better but as Len says... anything would have been better than last week. She still can't dance, IMO (sorry if that sounds a bit over assertive but I don't do humble opinions. It's a supercillious term used by supercillious people. As soon as I hear it I know the opinion is anything but humble ... )

Right, that's sorted ...

I liked Rory's routine ...

The footballer with the blonde hair was good ...

The other tall guy was average . (no idea who he is)

Chelsee's performance was good too.

Jason has definately got an unfair advantage but he was great ..

Holly,I missed because the cat got stuck outside and I had to go and rescue him ...

Russell,was scarily memorising ...

Harry was fantastic and what a proper wee sweetie he is. He is my favourite to win. :D

This week, I've vote out Chelsee or the big tall guy who's name I can't remember or what he does?

Hi Miss Harper,

we agree on more than disagree.Harry will probably win, with Jason or Chelsee 2nd and 3rd.The judges look for improvements every week and I think Lulu and Nancy have improved since the previous week, admittedly from very low standards.
I think tall people are at a disadvantage when it comes to dance, and perhaps the tall guy you mentioned will go this weekend.
Its all great stuff though,

Willie.x.

That's Dan, gone. He definitely wasn't mesmerising, harper, and don't think he was memorising either. At least not the steps.

I am delighted that Audley is still in. I don't think he will make it to the final but he is a delightful guy with a tremendous smile. I like Flavia's too, Willie, particularly her dimples.

Harry is looking good and Robbie Savage. I think Holly is going to pick up and the best thing about Jason being so good is that Kristina is having such a good time. I'm glad that Alex is settling down. Go Wales!

I don't agree about the costumes, Willie, some are great but a few question marks. I think that poor Anita couldn't look much more of a numpty. Her striped can can was the giddy limit.

I like Harry too. I just think Nancy is hysterical but Craig is cruel. She says her next book will be about dancing with Anton.

I am not too interested in the programme but my neighbour Moira is very enthusiastic about the programme. She is a big fan of Craigs and thinks that Len is too full of himself and she does not like Alisha and thinks she is common. Moira wants Lulu to win and would have liked her to be dancing with Anton.

I hope Nancy D'lusional stays in for a wee bit longer... just of the laugh. It was great that Edwina Curry got bumped in the first week. :D

Good name for Nancy, harper, she is certainly delusional. She thinks the paso doble is a Latin version of the tango!!

I'm sure Willie will be getting all prepared. I had planned a late dinner after the show but Ryan has arrived and has announced that he is 'starving' so better get to it.

Rory my old auntie loves the show, although, it's a shame that she can't see too well. Like your Moira she is not struck on Alesha and thinks she has a 'common laugh'.

I think Alesha is beautiful and astute but she lacks experience. She is hardly a replacement for Arlene Phillips.

I would quite like it if the judges had to strutt their stuff to show us they know what they are talking about.

Bruno Tobleroni gets on my nerves. What does he do for a job?

Oh well,

thats Rory gone tonight, and Nancy survives another week.I dont know what to say about her.I cant make up my mind if shes thick or in on the joke.mmmm.Anton held her upside down for much longer than he had to at the end of the "dance",and I suspect it was to shut her up.
It would be interesting to see the judges doing their thing.I wonder just how good they would be.
I thought the Argentine tango with Flavia and Vincente was marvellous, and deserved the standing ovation.
Tess and her black dress with mesh panels was quite something,as was the chiffon bag worn by Claudia, but for very different reasons.Whats wrong with Winkleman just now?She has completely lost it at present,

Didn't see the result show but I thought wee Chelsee danced a storm last night.

Nancy was the funniest thing. You could see her counting the steps and as Bruno said, she still got them wrong.

Heavens, Willie. I thought Tess's dress looked awful. Yes, Flavia and Vincente's dance was amazing. Claudia's a new mammy hence her less slender form. I'm surprised myself but Nancy is growing on me. She is just such a laugh.

Yes, harper, I thought that Chelsee was superb and well done Harry.

I felt sorry for Alex. I don't think that girl is tough enough for this competition but James is not helping with his cheek to the judges. Ola will need to have a word with him.

I was pleased that Jason wasn't top dog this week. Nice to have a change.
