Modified forms of ecstasy are being developed as they may be effective in treating some types of cancer such as leukaemia. The claims have been made by scientists at the University of Birmingham and it's hoped that in years to come this will be a useful approach to treating the disease.

It could certainly make the treatment more agreeable. What an interesting finding, who would have thought it?

I heard about some people who were dying of cancer who took ecstasy and afterwards were able to talk to their family and friends about death and other subjects they could not broach before. I thought that it was all a joke, then I read the article.
Well if they use hallucinogenic drugs to cancer patients, it's best if they find out if they can create safe versions to treat people with the disease.
