Glasgow's Going Green

Recommended Posts

It looks like the dear green place is going to have a whole new 21st century claim to its name as it is pronounced first Scots ‘super city’ of green energy in a report by HSBC.

In its latest 'Future of Business' Report the bank has identified Glasgow and Bristol as powerhouse cities trailblazing green businesses and end entrepreneurs."

Sounds very uplifting.

Hope there is to be no reduction in support for Research and Development. Interesting to read that:

"Strathclyde University, previously Anderson’s College, where the first electricity-generating wind turbine was created in 1885, has established its status as a leader in wind energy research."
