They're all very impressive. Particularly to someone like me who only ever specialised in cutting people's heads off with a Kodak Instamatic (well, not actually heads off, no blood or anything, but you know what I mean), but that Scalectrix Corner one is really wonderful. smile.gif I expect you'll be able to sell christmas cards of that image next year (later this year, I mean). Great stuff!

Edit to say, you really should! smile.gif

A quiet few days around here and some back yard vistors. They are all the same view, behind a window, warm and cosy inside, freezing cold ootside.

Pictures a wee bit too big. How do I resize?

This fellah lost his footing on the snow covering the stairs, he fell flat on his face, struggled to get out of a foot of snow and when he finally got to the ball post, he had a look of utter disgust on his face.

Thanks for posting, Snow Whit, they're great. You must have a great zoom - very clear.

Maybe LG or Mr H will be able to tell you how to resize. I wonder if you can drag in from the corner?

We don't have a good zoom, Pat. Just messing about with what we have got. And we are so close. The bird feeder is a couple of feet away from the back door window.

I won't argue, I've never seen a black eyed junco but it's gorgeous.

Are the birds not scared when you come up close?

They are so hungry, Pat. We are gentle and don't do any sudden moves. These ones in the pictures will eventually get to know we are the feeders and if we are too slow getting the food down, they will stand by the window dancing around to get our attention. Funny stuff.

Is it a zoom lens if it has some zoom? It's a wannabe zoom sort of lens. Och, the only thing I know about cameras is that you click a button and hope for the best.

They were all taken through the window.

Snow White, if a lens has a zoom capacity of any size it can be classed as a zoom lens. Some are more zoomy than others! :) if you get a Flickr account to upload your photos to then you can select 'share this' above the pic, and 'get BB code'. Then copy that and paste it in here and it'll always be a standard size. Me and Loney do that. It looks like this:

Flickr is waaaay better than Photobucket. I use both, but only use pb for things like this:

I have a zoom button thingy. Shows goosebumps in this weather and at $100.00 it is good enough for me. Anything over that gets lost far too easily.

I will have a go at your instructions to get a double B after a wee hot toddy. It eases the frustration.

Nice cat....superglue is brilliant for stickin paws together.

I had to.....I've got the animal bug. That and the fact that they sit and look in my hoose as though I am feeding them the dregs at the bottom of my popcorn barrel. I am gonnie pay a price for encouraging these critters. The attic will need reinforced and the chimney will need a squirrel guard. But wid yi look at they paws.

LG your escalator pics remind me of an old tenement I was in once might have been up Garnethill where I swear there were two sets of stairs running parallel up the closes - might have been a dream ? :) great images LG
