Tommy McAleese and the Gaylords doesn't have quite the same ring to it, does it?

I don't think McAleese or Ford are the problem here.

I remember seeing Dean Ford and The Gaylords in Clydebank Town Hall. Probably round about 1962. Can't remember when they became Marmalade?

Good play list, Dex. I'm going to have to get out of my bed earlier on a Sunday.
This is me since yistirday.

Felonious made it last week to the Sunny Govan radio complex which is in the media mile part of the South side. We’re halfway between Govan’ Cinecita in the old town hall and BBC / STV HQ’s. he’s hoping to be behind the mic and to the right of a box of CDs from 10:00 this Sunday morning for Born too late, Sunny Govan’s oldies show. That box will contain a selection of records issued in 1959, the CD given away by Divine to celebrate a 20 year residency at the Art School and tunes from Elvi, The Beatles, Cliff and Motown records.
The show itself is a celebration of pop music and always has a mix of soul, rock’n’roll, beat sounds, girl groups and isn’t any snobbish about what it plays. There should be some Freddie and the Dreamers included as well as some sixties rarities.
In between the songs there will be chat about the music and Felonious’s adventures at pubs and clubs that play these sounds.

In Glasgow you can listen to Sunny Govan radio on 103.5 FM and everybody else can tune in courtesy of their computer at http://www.ustream.t...nny-govan-radio

You can also ask for a shout out via our text system on: 07797 805 387.
