On the old system, if you went back to change something of yours that had already been replied to, your amended post would then have a note saying that it had been edited, and how many times it had been edited.
No sign of this on the new system.

The new system doesn't declare that posts have been edited, either.

Why would you want to change a post that had been replied to?

When you consider that Gladtae has to edit a one liner several times, it's prolly a blessing.

I only ever do it infrequently. But if your stuff's going to be there in perpetuity, you want to be clear about what you want to say.
Other folk - drunk - just want to go back the next morning and and cover their injudiciousnesses of the night before. If they happen to have started a rammy the night before and the rest of the thread is the fallout, it is right and proper that the world can see that what has been left in perpetuity is not necessarily what was posted in the first place.
no names no pack drill
(and no here anymore anyway on account of too many injudiciousnesses.... no doubt)

Correcting grammar or spelling of forum members is tedious and is not a legitimate subject of posts to the forum.
