  1. Darts (could but don't; entrenched sexism there makes Andy Gray look like Germaine Greer - which, in a certain light, he probably does.) Falconry?
  2. Wasn't Fraser's formerly 'MacDonald, Wylie, Lochead'? Arnott's was Arnott Simpson's (no AND)
  3. I have so too got friends. Mind you, I'm not sure how many of them can read. I know one of my pals has a book because he keeps showing me the pages he's coloured in - and he hardly ever goes over the lines.
  4. No. Is there a new bookshop? Why did nobody tell me?
  5. Funnily enough I did buy a good book on Friday - great would be pushing it a bit. Not 'THE' Good Book, of course. Robert Crais "LA Requiem", if you like US PI shoot-em-up sort of stuff. I'm sure I shouldn't, but I do.
  6. This is getting confusing. Do you mean that the bookshop goes to church on a regular basis? Maybe it goes to confession if it kicks that way, or looks sternly at anyone enjoying themselves. Perhaps it's a brethern place and eats its lunch seperately from the other shops. Surely a Christian bookshop wouldn't sell unChristian books? There again - can a book have a faith?
  7. From whom/what is a Christian bookshop independent? I thought its allegiance was fairly obvious.
