The film that launched Almodóvar onto a global platform and earned the director multiple awards including BAFTA and Oscar nominations for Best Foreign Language Film. Primarily set inside middle-aged voice actor Pepas’ penthouse apartment, the film details her attempts to find out why her lover Iván has recently left her, confronting his son and former wife in order to discover his whereabouts.
