Scotland Street Reunited
Saturday 4 September
11am to 4pm, Free entry.
Scotland Street School Museum, 225 Scotland Street, Glasgow G5 8QB
0141 287 0500
Scotland Street School Museum will become a school once again for our annual open day, and will be offering fun ‘lessons’ in Social Dancing, Domestic Science, Art and Design and much more!
Keep your eyes peeled for the 'headmaster', as he patrols the corridors in search of truanters, latecomers and those who misbehave!
Everyone is welcome. Children will love experiencing a school day like they've never before, and many adults will enjoy a trip down memory lane, as well as a chance to find out about Scotland Street School, a celebrated Charles Rennie Mackintosh building.
The Open Day includes a reunion event for visitors who attended Scotland Street School before it became a museum - ex-pupils and ex-teachers alike.
Come along to meet old friends, and perhaps make some new ones. Register on the day to receive complimentary refreshments. Be there at 1.30pm to be included in the annual Past Pupils School Photo.
